Welcome to the Aberdour Boat Club website.  The Club is located in the attractive Kingdom of Fife village of Aberdour, on the North shore of the Firth of Forth. The harbour, though tidal, makes an excellent base for exploring the River Forth, including the famous Isle of May, Inchcolm Island, the Bass Rock and The Lamb which is owned by the famous Israeli spoon-bending paranormalist, Uri Geller. Skerries, strong currents and a 5m tidal range provide a challenge for even the most experienced sailor.

The Club was founded in 1930 and has always encouraged boating of all kinds – canoes, rowing, power boats and sailing.

We have an active racing and cruising programme and the village’s annual Regatta is one of the biggest events of the Forth.

Our small and attractive Clubhouse, conveniently located at the root of the pier plays host to a busy social programme throughout the year.

Club Membership

The Club membership is just over 100 and runs very much on a self-help basis. The club is affiliated to both the Royal Yachting Association and the Forth Yacht Clubs Association.

Our member forum is the place to chat about all things boat related, or anything else that takes our members fancy!
